Our History

International Brokerage

Labrador Recycling was founded in 2013 and has grown to be one of the premier scrap metal brokers in the United States, trading worldwide.

Labrador is a sister company of the Joseph Freedman Company, Inc., founded in 1891. JFC is one of the oldest and largest independently owned and operated private metal recyclers in New England, implementing best practices every day and committed to continual improvement.  Our word is our bond and we value working with our employees and customers  creating long term relationships.
